If you installed 3.5 version number will be .122 and PL# will be .153.

If you installed 3.5.1 version number will be .122 and PL# will be .114

ok,... i thought it was my home computer but it must be my phone i just got a new one in the box...everytime i try to run device swich on DM it tells me fatal error and when i try to run the app loader to update it tells me apploader fails i have deleted and redownloaded and made sure everything is in a row what the hell is going on?


edit- i have an error log but it is very very long that had put itself into the apploader folder

ps im going to try uninstallin dm and reinstalling

try the dm and start over
You may want to wipe the phone as well while your at it, let us know how it goes

finally done reinstalling dm let me back up 3rd party apps im assumin it will work for apploader now..just trying to figure out one last thing


edit- i have way to much time to be waiting on answers lol if i knew nething i could actually be helpful to people and all that but i just ask and wait cause im a tard lmao

remember it is not the apploader in the DM you are running...

It is the Loaderapp in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research in Motion\AppLoader…..delete the vendor.xml file

Dbl Click the Loader application:


Check what you want to be installed and continue with the instructions.

yea im cool with all that if i want the radio file from just v3 i just copy the one file in cdma and post it in this cdma right or wrong?

hey i cant get the apploader to work everytime i do it all it does is start and then say error and i get the windows error report thing what the heck is goign on?

could it just be the version of .114 i have? and if that is it does anyone have a link to a diff one?

or should i delete the rim folder and completely reload it? and if so how the heck do i do that?

Try rebooting your phone and computer, also maybe browser cahce? This happened to me but for some reason cant remember how i go it workin....

i rebooted reinstalled im lost it wont work at home or here and dl'd the same .114 so im guessin thats it any help would be appriciated

Maybe not all files are there to install, have you tried .113?

EDIT: Just remembered that when i tried to install back to .114 from .113, i had moved files from .114 and it did this, knew it would pop up sometime
