Thanks for v3.5. Installed just as listed on the first page of this thread. I dont understand all this hybrid stuff, but you, Neolantis and others are the reason I kept the 9530. This site is GREAT with everyone helping each other. My thanks to everyone

I downloaded the file, but the installer is not popping up. Any hints?

Open up the file and install it...then load the os through the app loader

Ive downloaded it like 4 times, but after the initial download, I get nothing. Im not sure where to look to find it to open it

My mistake, misunderstood the question, thought the exe wouldn't open.

Navigate here in explorer: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
Disconnect from the internet then, Click on the phone icon (loader) this will start the application loader.

just installed 3.5.1 again.... my phone is working great all my info and data is there.. i really appreciate all the members help... blackberryos.com is awesome. If I can help anyone with any issues I will thanks again.

cruz, I cant do that yet because after I download the new 3.5, from crackmans site, as soon as the initial download is over, the box goes away, and the installer wizard doesnt pop up to ask me where to install it to. i checked the rim folders and nothings been updated to what i just downloaded. Its as if the download doesnt even exist. If I open the app loader the only thing I will do is reload v3. not 3.5

I have 122 installed. To do 3.5 can I just wipe with JL Commander and then install 3.5?

I have read these post and still don't know what makes version 3.5.1 less stable on a Verizon phone. Is it the radio? If so could I down grade the radio to a different version and improve the stablilty? I would like the larger keyboard but I think a more stable phone is more important.

Also is there a list of features for this hybrid version

bbcrackman assembled 3.5 for Verizon, 3.5.1 was made for T-Mobile, for the EDGE connection. There are some Verizon subscribers using 3.5.1.

i've heard that is possible but not heard how the result was
