I just looked back a few pages and don't want to step on any toes, but DM may have stored a bakup of your databases (contacts included). Look at computer > "whatever user" > App Data > Local > Temp > look for a file called LoaderBack Up. IPD with todays date. If so copy it and place it on your desk top. Go back into DM and choose restore > point to that file and you should be good.
