Thread: .327 VS .328 sfi.

Wondering if anyone has tried the different sfi files with 328 java files. I don't know about anyone else but 328 seems very bad for signal strength for me and frequently have 0 bars yet I can phone calls, but my data is also VERY slow when compared to 323 (i think that was the last leak before this official) I am assuming 328 to be better than 327 for java becuase they obviously found some issue or they would not have upgraded to 328 instead (speaking of VZW) but maybe the sfi file would provide better signal strength?

Anyone tried yet and have any feedback??

I'm having some of the same issues as you with .328....going to try some different OS's this weekend to see the result. I'm going to go back to full .230 first to see how my Storm reacts....not real satisfied with .328.

If I load .327 on my Storm I'll let you know what I find. Good luck.

Right now I'm running .323 sfi with .328 java. It seems to be a winning combination for me. No memory leaks.

Interesting. How long have you guys had .328 installed. Mine has settled in very nicely after 3 days and signal strength is stronger than ever. Hey, mggauley...have you stored the clubs yet?

328 best OS yet for me with vzw. It has the best speed, compatibility, bugfixes. No issues whatsoever. There was no period of slowness upon first installing, though I've never seen that with any OS.

FWIW, both .327 and .328 have the exact same platform number. The platform number refers to the version of the SFI file; thus i'd have to advise that .327 and .328 use the exact same SFI; the difference must lie within one of the COD files.

Thought that the only difference was that .328 is English and .327 is mutil language

Dave I am about 99% sure that was the only difference.. .328 was english and .327 was a multilang

I like this idea and have yet to try it. Porbably will give it a shot today!
