That is why i am asking if we could get the larger keys on 3.5 where the OS is more stable. I would rather have stability over larger keys but if theres a way to have both im all for that.

i cant answer for him but i can say with the .122 radio the memory does leak a little but then as you use the phone it seems to build right back up. so it does seem to recover nicely thus far. will keep an eye out just for the hell of it. until my phone starts to lag im not too worried about it. the only concern i have is with v3 i never needed a reboot really. i could go for days and mem kept up keeping phone quick. hopefully v3.5 will be the same!
I used 3.5 All I have to say is that he has done it again. Smoothest and fastest OS thus far. My memory is stable around 41.0 and 42.1. Picturee MMS works, Browser is fast. Signal strength is excellent, programs transition smoother, Battery pull boot up time seems to be faster...(have to double check though) OS shows v122 on the 153 Platform. Hi 5 to BBcrackman. Can't wait to see what he does when .146 finally leaks...wink wink. :arms:
So what's up with 3.5.1? Why 2 releases at the same time. Is the .1 not better that the 3.5 or does one have advantages over the other? Very confusing! If they are different which one do you choose and why?
Help!:boggled:
.1 is for T-Mobile Users. It has a singal fix to hold the EDGE connection. If you are on Verizon then use 3.5
On Verizon, Using 3.5.1 put on top of .122
Very stable
Browser very quick
Camera much quicker
MMS pic attachment working
accelerometer faster
lock unlock faster
keys larger, easier to use speed of typing very good, no lag
all in all best so far after 12 hours
Memory at 39.5 best i have had, holding well with little droping
color banding gone, put best pic up to show ( this one was horible before)

The .90 radio on T-Mobile holds EDGE, but I kept getting random reboots. It got really annoying. So I went to .113 and haven't had any issues (except for yesterday). For some reason, I just couldn't get an EDGE connection. I think it was T-Mobile because it seems to be working fine today. So if there is still development going on with 3.5.1, I would recommend using the .113 radio instead of the .90. Just my two cents.

Hi Guys. In my exuberance to install this I did it on top of .122. Then I read this;**update - there is an error that is happening when installing. It is best if you DO NOT install this over .122. Meaning, if you have .122 installed on your phone, downgrade to another OS version (or wipe the phone) and then run this. We are looking into why this error is occurring but for now please downgrade before installing.**
Any issues I should look for or am I OK? Everything appears to be fine. My screen shows .122 - .153 platform. Is this correct? Also I'm on Bell so should I stick with 3.5 or can I go to the 3.5.1? At my age any increase in size is a good thing. (Eyes guys & gals)
"...what memory leak?"
I have to say, the memory management is excellent! The more you use it the better it recovers! Once again, job well done BBC! You have outdone yourself this time! Great Job on this Hybrid release!
I am using 3.5 and installed over .122 with no issues (so far)
Camera was laggy at first but after 2 battery pulls and time for 3.5 to settle it's working quick, almost instantaneous after focus.
MMS forward working
Lock/Unlock as fast as .122
Browser seems better than .122, I had issues with 122's browser for some reason. Pages switch and load faster than before.
Memory is FANTASTIC...122 leaked like crazy for me, was getting ready to go back to V3....V3.5 is just as good. Attached screen shots from Meterberry showing the memory management.
No opinion yet on the battery use...so far its about the same as .122 but has had less use so far.

I installed over .122, I haven't noticed any issue other than memory leak (only pulled once though...trying again to see if that changes anything)
What are the problems that are being reported with installing over .122?
After installing the hybrid over .122 it shoud read Platform 4.0.0.114
App Platform 4.7.0.122, it did not take you will have to redo and make sure when you get to the loader it asks you if you want to downgrade YES
PS, i am having no problems after putting over the .122 hybrid
im really tempted to try the v3.5.1 to see how .90 is on my phone but i dont want to deal with all the issues. ah the decisions
I did my install, with no issues. I was able to reload my backup file with the DL. The only issue I have seen so far is the L.E.D. indicator light seems to freeze a little. I am going to do the 4 battery pulls, with the :30 seconds in between pause like I did with the last v3 hybrid. That helped allot.
I will keep an eye on what I am seeing on my phone, and hopefully have awesome news to report back.
