"dismiss clock automatically" refers to the action when you unplug the charger (assuming you have the clock setting to show the clock while charging). Dismiss will automatically "dismiss" the clock when you pull the charger out rather than having to manually close the clock to get to your home screen.
As for your second issue...I am not seeing that happen. If I set for "bedside mode when charging", when I plug in the charger, the device does indeed go into bedside mode...and the settings I have for bedside mode do take effect.

you have it restricting to certain hours?

one thing I love about OS5 is that bedside mode. restricting it to certain times and with a specific profile. so if it is set to restrict it will just display the clock if it doesn't fall within that time frame. Once you fall within that specified time it goes into bedside mode.

I don't see this "restricting hours" option on .328. Can you specify where these options are? What OS are you running?

Everything works great on mine, EXCEPT one thing. I have seen the question asked twice in this forum, but I haven't seen an answer. My phone dims when it is turned to landscape. When I put it back into portrait mode, the screen brightens. Is there a work around or fix for this? Yes, my setting is NOT TO DIM.

    Thanks

Is it possible that you are putting your finger on the light sensor??? It is just to the right of the speaker on the fron of the phone.

This is a known bug. Although some argue it is a "new feature". There is no fix, but supposedly if you touch your finger to the screen (not click, just touch) and hold it on the screen while rotating, it won't dim.

+Don't have to perform a quick pull to change my background with Slider anymore
    +Starts up faster
+Browser faster as well. Not quite ready to switch from Opera 5 Beta tho.

-Like .323 No Pop-up keys!!! Which I grew to love especially when typing email addresses and passwords.
-No separate icon for email? Why is that? Although, when you look at the pix for the S2 it's the same way. So maybe this is just the way they want it now. But I don't get it.
-Like .323 no more 3G symbol...I do miss that.
-Can't seem to figure out how to delete Visual Voicemail. I even moved it to a folder and tried. Also, it doesn't show up in the Application Center or under Applications in Options. What gives?!!
-Still can't send video that I took! Maybe I just can't figure it out or something though. Because I can forward video sent to me by other people but for some reason if I film it I can't send it in an MMS. Don't know about email or not. Can someone please respond to this one?

There is a seperate icon for email but when you install the os its hidden for some reason. Click bb key>show all!
The vvm your trying to delete is just an icon, not the actual app. I just stick them in a junk folder so I dont have to look at them, along with all the rest of verizons crap they force on my phone.
As far as the video thing, I havent had that problem.
