Thread: 9530 5.0.0.328 Fixes and Findings

All seems ok so far with the upgrade other than the REALLY annoying white bars on the side when in landscape view. I upgraded before I left for the weekend on Thursday and had nothing but problems with my phone all weekend. However, that said, the problems started when I crossed the Alberta border and lost all my data services and bb connection....funny no issues through Saskatchewan. Once I crossed back over on Sunday morning all seems well again (other than the white bars) and so far I am happy with it. Is there a fix for the white bars or just an issue i have to live with for now?

The white bars are because that particular theme is not compatible with the OS.
A couple of options come to mind.
You can revert back to the original Precision Zen theme that comes with the OS or you can attempt to find a new theme that works with the newer OS's.

The theme you have may have gotten an update as well. You should check with the builder to find out if there is an update that will eliminate the white bars in landscape.

So i guess, since it has become official through verizon, the 3G logo (where 1XEV is) will never show up again?

I would not say never.....

VZW could always release MR4 or another leak could come down the pike to surprise us all.
My money is on another Maintenance Release.

Has anyone ever had an issue with having e-Mobile pro, Meterberry and BerryWeather all running at the same time and losing app memory? I lose app memory all day. From 21.5 mb down to 10 mb in 10 hours or so. Constant drain. Today i uninstalled e-Mobile pro for starters and the app memory stayed at 20.8 for almost 6 hrs ! Could it be? Using the 9530 5.0 OS

I just upgraded to 328 and now my blue tooth does not work on my car. It worked just fine on the old os. Any ideas would be great.

Have you gone through the entire setup procedure for the bluetooth with your new OS? If not, your settings may have been lost.
A previous thread also was resolved by a battery pull, that fixes a lot of issues with BB devices, and doesn't hurt to try.
