is it just me, or is there major memory leak with this OS? I started with about 30mb, and woke to 5mb. LOL Never had such a memory leak...

I have separate email icons. Yours might be hidden on the home screen just hit the bb key and select show all and see if that works. vvm you can just hide the icon if it bothers you that much

the reason I asked is I did the upgrade last night without doing a wipe and i am having a few issues. I have tried to wipe with BBSAK so I can reload it and it will not connect to BBSAK. what can I do?

Udate through DM or download file shrink and install
Lots of excitement last night, new operating system approved by Big Red, I expected more...
Updated through DM, I had a hybrid 9530 - 184.108.40.206/323, I ended up having low memory, so I downloaded the installation file, ran shrink an OS, and installed. Did a restore of data and third party apps, bands in landscape mode using 3rd party themes, folders open and close quickly, screen transition fast, typing for text and emails feels improved, 1XEV has replaced the 3G, more memory available after shrink, system seems stable.
Would really enjoy a new hybrid based on this as the base rather than 230, well I am still very happy with my Storm, looking forward to playing with Storm2, and the new Motorola Android.
PS Smiles no longer have pictures only text hmmmm.

I think you can pull the battery, connect the phone to the PC, start BBSAK, put the battery in and I think you will be connected.
