Agreed. I just reinstalled Quickpull and as usual, it failed to work. Going to email their tech support since we now have an official version of a 5.0 OS. Everything else seem to be working fine with this build.

Hi did you do a clean install? I did and have had no memory leak, battery and memory holding really good.

HI TO EVERYBODY.....
JUST UPDATED TO .328, WHEN I TRY TO OPEN THE EXPLORER, IT OPENS THE WAP BROWSER, IN THE CONFIG MENU I JUST HAVE ONE OPTION THAT IS WAP BROWSER, WHEN I HAD 4.7 INSTALLED THERE WERE TWO OPTIONS INTERNET EXPLORER AND WAP BROWSER NOW I JUST HAVE THE WAP OPTION.......I HAVE TRIED TO RE SEND MY SERVICE BOOKS, REREGISTER TO THE NETWORK, HAD 7 BATTERY PULLS, RE INSTALLED OS AFTER WIPE OUT.. AND IM STILL MISSING THE EXPLORER OPTION ONLY APPEARS THE WAP BROWSER......HELP....I HAD POSTED THIS PROBLEM BEFORE WHEN I INSTALLED THE .230 OS.....mfg:

Upgrading for .323 to .328 at 8:30 central time this morning, it was a breeze through DM with the automatic notification, No problems what so ever. I did not wipe the device and did not remove my memory card (just in case i always have a app backup file on my desktop). Once i connected it advised of upgrade backed up all my apps and left BBM 5.0 on along with deleting BBM 4.7 without even asking. Download and upgrade took appx. 45 minutes. Now i was using the Today Zen theme as i could not get any of my themes to properly work on .323 (I add and delete a lot of apps and fixing it every time i reboot was a pain) so maybe that made it go a little easier. Reboot seemed to take around 2 minutes once the BB logo and bar appeared other than the standard security setting questions all apps, all old messages and callendar events were intact on reboot and in the same position they were before the update (I did have to resign in to all accounts).
I really dont see any difference between .323 and .328 as i dont use VVM, camera OK still a little laggy with flash. And for me memory is holding in the high 20's and battery life seems good dropped 20% in last 4 hrs. of pretty heavy use
I dont think the browser is any quicker but I have been pretty happy with it on most of the 5.0 builds. The only app i cant get to work is Traffic.
Things I do miss, tabbed browsing and ghost letters on the keyboard (even though i didnt have either of them very long). Things I really like ... threaded sms that doesnt scroll to the top message, BBM 5.0 and the transition speed (again .323 was the same) If you are on .323 and havent upgraded from .323 to .328 yet you may want to hold off till another leak comes out not because its bad but just because I really dont see any difference. I am glad everyone is getting a little of the 5.0 love as I have a couple of friends that wouldnt consider doing a leak or hybrid. I think everyone should be happy (for a while)

Traffic working now, Must delete then reinstall
Edit again: Traffic not working properly even after removal and reinstall, took it off phone working great

Quickpull worked for me, you just need to set all permissions to allow, save it, then set all permissions to default, accept, then it will work.

Whoa, unusual visual glitch in landscape mode main screen with Buuf Berry skin. It is not a serious problem. Both sides of the screen have a small zone where the background is white, and the icons leave trails that remain until you leave that screen. (edit: This is the infamous white bars problem everyone is experiencing.)

The speed of changing screens is improved. The transitions are improved. The flick scrolling is not so chaotic. Long SMS conversations do not scroll up so far by themselves anymore. Touching the screen with two fingers no longer causes a scroll down. Selecting "move" on an icon no longer causes a scroll down. There is a hand icon now when moving icons. Moving the cursor to a precise point on a line of text was difficult with .230 and is easier now. The large white space that often appeared in portrait mode at the bottom of the screen is fixed. App memory is identical to before. The speakers were set to very loud in .191 and .230 and they are quieter now.

You are never going to see that in an official VZW release because they don't call it 3G, they call it 1XEV. You will only see it in a leak intended for RIM testing.

I don't think Verizon wanted to update any of their training/help material to say 3G instead of 1XEV.

No problems with the media player. That problem has been fixed.

I did it before loading the OS to phone, but if its on phone, then bbsak is your friend. When you open bbsak, read system first, then select the media accessibility cod and remove it. Phone will probably reboot and that's normal.
