Thread: Camera problem with .323????

So i just talked a friend through the upgrade to .323. i had him do a security wipe and then wipe with bbsak and then install OS.323 He said everything works but his camera it is saying in use by another app but he has no third party apps on his phone. he lives a hour away so I am not just going to drive up there to fix his camera any ideas?

Battery pull or wipe and reload... If that doesn't work, I would try downgrading back to the previously working OS.

i am checking with him to make sure he pulled it like i told him to or if he just let it reboot after the restore.

he has done four pulls and tried the wipe and reload

You could also try a security wipe through the Device.

Options>>Security Options>>Security Wipe...
Then select all that apply. I would erase Email, Contacts, etc and User Installed Applications.

Be sure that you have your device backed up before going forward...

what is the error he is getting with the camera>?

device in use by other application.... it doesn't give him a code or anything

thanks for the help guys... he going to just wait for the new upgrade and see if that fixes it.

I had that same error had to get my phone replaced. So yea wait for upgrade or replace for warrenty
