im also on the bell network.im looking forward to trying this OS, i installed .323 without deleting any vendor files.... but ive got a backup of my .323 just incase.
Keep in mind this is a Verizon release. Word is that it won't be an exe file until later in the week or longer. So for right now if the OS is released tonight or tomorrow, users on other carriers won't be able to get it. You would need the exe file. :(
Here's hoping for a leak... cause i'm on Telus.
well i'm hopin if someone gets it they post it as fast as they get it...i'm on bell also
the problem is we wont be able to post the sfi and java in an exe. and getting the sfi(radio base of the os) is very very hard to pull off the phone....
The above posters are correct. Those of us on Telus and Bell are out of luck until Verizon released the .exe version (it's only going to be a Desktop Manager and blackberry.com upgrade, which can tell what carrier you're on).
And when the .exe version is released, we can download and install, but again, as was stated, because this is actually a Verizon upgrade, we will need to delete the Vendor.xml file. If you don't it won't install.
:)
Yes you can download

Lol, isn't it funny how that works... you post something and then there is the leak! Actually both .327 and .328 are out. Go figure. :P
I don't know if .328 is branded to Verizon, but for Telus and Bell users, I'd suggest deleting the Vendor.xml file anyhow, just to be safe.
I should add, I've been on .327 for the past day and it's been good. .328 is supposed to be pretty much the same, so pick the one you want and go for it. :)
.328 works great on Bell.............. Wondering if anyone knows if I will be able to run my Storm on Bells new HSPA network launching in 2 weeks?........ Ive seen a 9700 working at 21mbps, its smoking fast. Someone mentioned storm only does data on 2100 frequency when on a HSPA network.
I'm kinda new at this, how do I delete the Vendor XL file?
I'm on Bell too and I'd love to get this OS.
