Probably referring to how the display/GUI is shown to the user hehe

Could the release date change be becuase they plan on offering an OTA option?

all subject to change at this point there could be a major bug found and have to go up another build you never know till it's released.

I don't think you could do a ota on this big jump from 4.7 to 5.0 could be wrong tho just guessing

Looking forward to Big Red's 5.0 official. I just hope it's worth it.

I do want to make just one remark... Remember the last MR from VZW. We saw official docs saying when it would release and it never did. Nothing agains any sources or anyone else.. just remember vzw has let us down before and very well may again.

I am keeping my fingers crossed!

Man I hope it's .328 over .323. The latter isn't "bad" but it is rough on memory. There's a leak and it boots consistantly lower than it should. So either this OS uses more app memory than other builds, or it isn't "quite" right. Now that's not to say .328 will be that much better, but one can hope

on crackberry there is update that it will be released on the 26 so which date is it

A memory leak won't fail an OS, every OS has had a memory leak including .148. So if .328 has a memory leak like the browser of .323 does, it would not fail due to that.

.323 likely failed due to the VVM problems it was having. Verizon will not let a build pass that has a bug that does not allow users to use features where Verizon can make more money e.g. VVM.

That's for sure. I just wonder why not jusl leak sooner and more often? What better way to Beta test than all of us? Ex. I had noticed the vvm issue 1/2 an hour after I loaded 323

the only problem I have had with that version is teathering problems with vz access manager.

Ya know I often wonder why they don't leak stuff to. Or have a beta test site for os's that they are considering. Imho most BB owners don't mess with their os unless an official push is done, and even then a lot of owners have to be told/walked through an offical upgrade. People who are going to DL leaks are in large, smart enough and capable enough to wipe and reinstall if a leak is bad enough.

Im sure that there would have to be some sort of release of liability on big reds part. Given that, there is a huge untapped resource in all of us to test possible os's with different app configurations.

Just my 2 cents, Ok ill stop day dreaming. Lol

Most beta tests are very controlled and findings should be well documented. For all of variables each of us have regarding usage and apps we could not be considered reliable beta testers as large group IMHO. However I think most of us would willingly sign up as official beta testers if we were allowed to.:laugh2::laugh2::laugh2::laugh2:
