    Switching OS's

could someone just give me a refresher on just how to upgrade my O/S software.

I am currently running v4.7.0.76 (don't ask me what that is I dunno lol)

and I am looking to go to v4.7.0.151.

someone just give me a little help like a step by step process on how to do it.

I already have the .151 version saved to my computer and I installed it. If I need to uninstall I can do so, just looking to get this thing on a stable O/S

I really think you would be impressed with 5.0.0.323. You may want to consider that OS over 151.

If you need more help just shout and we will be here to help!

Here is a step by step guide to installing an OS here

hmm I must've done something wrong because I followed the instructions and then when I went to open the loader it didn't show any options to put on any OS or anything? Just asked me if I wanted to add one. It's the part after they ask for the PIN when you're in the app loader part.

I should just go to 5.0.0.323 this is frustrating lol

Did you delete the vendor.xml file in C:/Program Files/Common Files/Research In Motion/Apploader and delete the vendor.xml file.

So, since the apploader thing didn't work in the end where it didn't recodnize my OS or whatever, I opened up desktopmanager and just loaded my old OS that way, so now I'm back where I started. I'm wondering if I should try again?

    I just love Vista64....

Ok, hit the start orb and type in search vendor.xml and let the pc search. Then when complete do an advanced search for the same file. It will probably find it hidden somewhere, you will need to delete it too.
