Ok, hit the start orb and type in search vendor.xml and let the pc search. Then when complete do an advanced search for the same file. It will probably find it hidden somewhere, you will need to delete it too.
    found nothing haha.

I wish I still had xp, got a new comp and this shit is happening all the time now.

would I go through the same process upgrading to a 5.0.0 version? The OS I'm on right now is horrible, the phone freezes when people call and it's driving me nuts

Yes, the exact same steps. You will really like 5.0.0.323. It is light years above your current OS as well as 151

    Unhappy

Are you trying to load from a laptop? I have the same problem whenever I try to load a new OS from my laptop. Never had the problem on a desktop. I know it does not make sense but I think it is a common problem. BBC should be able to advise you. He is the best.

5.0.0.323 is the way to go. i'm not sure why verizon takes so long for a bb software update to officially release.

still having an issue, I am going to try again, hopefully it works. I am on a desktop PC, designed for gaming. i7 processor, 16gigs ram, 2 vid cards etc.

Just gonna try again, having an issue with bbsak now, wont connect to my bb. Frustrating vista, why can't microsoft just better a current OS instead of coming out with complete garbage like vista

BBSAK will not recognize my phone anymore unless I turn mass storage mode off and pull battery, then it will. Try that!
