Finally found something I dont like with this OS.

Had trouble getting google maps installed to the right version, when i finally got the touch version of 3.2 installed, i noticed the GPS wont sync. So i scoured the forums for a 3.0.2 link, and GPS STILL wont sync!!! I think RIM maybe disabled it in .323?? or could be a bug i suppose, but i dont like it. Anyone who has info on this please post

Actually Google Maps 3.2 is working great for me. Make sure you have GPS enabled.

I had gps enabled , still nothing.. goes from 900m to 1800m back and forth but no sync... I had 3.2 working (as far as the app goes, touch worked and such from m.google.com/latitude ) gps just wont work. anyone else having this problem??

edit: GPS doesnt even seem like its trying to sync. Normally before it syncs it says Waiting for GPS, now it says GPS is temporarily unavailable... Tried one more reinstall, deleted, rebooted device, and installed 3.2 again and still no gps sync. any help would be greatly appreciated

Now what to do.........load the newest hybrid or wait for the offical? However the offical is a bit of an unknown as well!
if ur anything like the rest of the storm members, u know u'll want to download the official OS so i say might as well wait it out and then decide if u wanna go back to the hybrid. No point in installing hybrid then official then *if the need occurs* back to the hybrid.

Is somewhat working now. Not as accurate as usual, but at least pretty close. (50-90m) I uninstalled, rebooted, and installed using m.google.com/latitude. If it starts acting up again ill try the link, but i tried that link earlier and it installed the small screen version (ran in compatibility mode from default) but it seems google has fixed the DL if you ask me. The accuracy is still a bit of an issue. on 3.0.2 i used to get accuracy within 3 meters or so. What is yours reading? im curious to know what everyone else's google maps accuracy reading is as well. Thanks

edit: readings getting slightly better - location within 20m now, but bounced back up to 60. Dont know what the issue is, but before this OS google maps would sync with GPS in a couple seconds and i normally would have accuracy 3-9m.
