It was actually Win 7 causing problems that I know of. I have not heard anything of it yet with this build.

Is anyone else seeing weird things going on with their memory?

When I booted up from a batt pull, It was right around 22mb of free space. I've been using groups and browser and e-mail phone calls, etc all day today, and as it sits right now it's at 37.7MB free.

    This seems odd. Bug?

    Edit: Now it's at 38.0MB

    Landscape with 2 white bars

Again, this is ONLY in landscape. Portrait, everything works fine. Any fixes? Or should I re-install the entire OS all over again and hope since I've already tried removing and re-adding the themes. Thanks!

So I think this fix only works for certain themes. I am using Hero and that fix does not help AT ALL... I think that it probably works only with select themes and other themes may need to be re-coded to solve this issue. Hopefully Hero gets the update soon! Fix also didn't work with HTC for me. Gonna keep testing out the themes I prefer to use, hopefully one of them will allow the fix to work for me!

EDIT: fix didnt work for PreBerry theme.

I load mine with a Win7 pc and it works.
Make sure you set you USB Root Hub Properties correctly. Go to the Power Management tab and uncheck the option to 'Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.'

Hmm. Perhaps this is the reason. That'll be cool if it works well and keeps the phone from getting locked up or bogged down.

I shrank it. removed everything but the default theme, fonts, log viewer. so far so good. installed early am.

Using Nates Blak and blue and did the "fix" and it works at least until a reboot. seems slow to react though. stk theme has a faster response.

Wish I really had all this "free time" the calender thinks I have

This could be 1 of 2 things.. first.. bad install. 2nd- Rim could have implemented some kind of extreme battery and memory saver where when your phone is not in use it 'shuts down' portions of memory and as you use the phone 'turns on' those same portions.. now that is pure speculation. To confirm this you would want to wipe and reinstall the OS.
