Thread: picking a hybrid....need input pls...

whick of all you hybrid users have had the best experience with which hybrid ?

i've tried BBCrackman's stuff in the past and liked it, but i'm looking for something new that's also stable and doesn't cripple any functionality of the phone....

currently running 4.7.0.151 (non-hybrid), my apps are:

beiks dictionary
datavault
facebook
gps tracker
quicklaunch
storm level pro
stormlight
visual arts
tetris

i'd like the phone to have some 5.0 integration, i tried .230 but it caused my phone to behave funny, sometimes the screen stuck after a call, calls were not properly logged, etc....

looking for something better than what i'm running now, but don't really want to lose any functionality (everything on the phone works fine now).....

The best hybrid I've found to date is BBCM's v8.5. It is built on .151 and has some 5.0 files. It has been the most stable OS for me. Search the forums and you'll find the link to the download.

Lyrics 7v2b is a solid one. This requires a 167 radio though.

If you are going to run a hybrid and you are currently on 4.7 OS then you need to give 5.0.0.230 OS with Lyracidal's 238/287 Hybrid. If you do not like it you can always go back to 4.7, but wuth the apps you are running, they will all work with a 5.0 OS.

actually, i tried 230 and stormlevel pro didn't work. but that doesn't bother me as much as say, losing datavault.
