Was at a meeting in Chicago yesterday (HIMMS - IS for medical). BB had a booth there and the official word from BB was that Verizon will release .122 within a few week, it was on all of the BB employee's Storms. Verizon has it for final testing.
On another note, BB is making a big push in the medical field, the large display and hig res on the Storm makes it ideal for medical imaging.

This is going to be a "believe it when I see it" type of deal. Not saying you are wrong tnlimely but when it comes to Verizon, they are full of lies and let downs.

Remember, this was one of the service support leaders at BB - a Canadian no less, not Verizon. We spoke at length about the upcoming 4g as well as medical apps.

The upgrade by Verizon to 4G will start next year, or so both Blackberry and Verizon both said, but this requires hardware changes on all towers in the country. Blackberry's take is that it will be at least a year to become countrywide, so unless you are in a major metropolitan market, 4G is at least 18 month away. I'm in a small town in TN, so I'm not holding my breath. But 18 month will be about right to change my hardware again.
