That's why I liked the Nokia E71. It allowed you the ability to choose your default browser. Unfortunately it was on AT&T :lame:

delete the main browser from apps and then try to use the Opera see if it works dont forget to backup first

Have you tried this yet? It may work on Telus but I think VZW has security checks in place to ensure you cannot do this.

i did try it and make sure you dont resend the service books since it will replace the Borwser again. for me it worked. now i open anything that has to do with browser and get OPERA

well i hope it worked, since some phones are working and some arent bec of the security issue

Well i havent tried this yet I have been crammed with time with work and school papers and im taking a small break right now on some papers mfg: I will give this a try for sure tho

Yeah that is what I was talking about. Look forward to seeing it get released. Did the article say when it was coming out?

Tried to use .122 hybid 3, but, after 3 atemps, I could not get past the Install Creator Pro interface and resulting in bricking my storm. However, I easily loaded bmerdinian's ver of 122...resulting in easy perfection. It has totally resolved my memory leak and power drain issues. The browser is lighting fast and all but the backspace editing function is working perfectly. Oh man, this IS the best OS I have used and I have used them all but ver 122, hybid 3..... thanks again!
