Will keep first method (with mem cleaner off) for some time before going back to .122 platform 153. The first time i tried the 2nd method mem cleaner was on. If this build doesn't hold up well i will revert back to the 2nd method with mem cleaner off. I will keep whichever one works better. Thanks for all the help.

I apologize for the mistake...I meant to say the SECOND way gives a memory leak.
But I guess, the best way to find out is to try it for yourself and see which works better.

    Main post has been corrected.

I currently have 4.7.0.122 Platform153. What I did was install the original .114. Followed the instructions to 114 V3 and copied and pasted the CDMA and Java folders from V3. Then copied and pasted the CDMA and Java folder from .122 over that. Ran the apploader and have not looked back since. Most stable and responsive I have seen. End result is .122 with Platform 153. Not a hiccup or a reboot in over 24 hours. Fastest Browser I have seen. Patiently waiting to see what Bcrackman cooks up with this one. I'm sure he's like a mad scientists in a lab with beacons and smoke bubbling everywhere. lol "IT'S ALIVE!"

There's 2 ways to do this
    .

The First way is to use the Hybrid V3 files with the .122 files. This will show build 122 platform 144
The Second way is the basic install of the .122 over ANY OS you already have installed. This will show build 122 platform 153

From what I've notced...They both work fine, but If you do it the SECOND way, you might have a memory leak.

I will post noth ways, and you can choose which you want to have installed.
BOTH WAY CAN BE DONE FROM ANY OS.
    Back up your device

    First way....with Hybrid v3

    1. Download the Hybrid V3 file from http://www.brettwyman.com/blackberry/hybrid/hybrid3.zip
    2. Extract files to desktop.
    3. Copy the CDMA FOLDER ONLY and paste it in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\ (the latest OS version on your PC) "yes to replace"
    4. Download the 122 rar file from MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service
    5. Copy the JAVA FOLDER ONLY and paste it in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\ (the latest OS version on your PC) "yes to replace"
    6. Delete the vendor file from C:/Program files/ Common Files/ Research in Motion/ Apploader " if its not there, even better"
    7. Run AppLoader from C:/Program files/ Common Files/ Research in Motion/ Apploader

    END

    Second way...without Hybrid

    1. Download the 122 rar file from MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service
    2. Extract files to desktop.
    3. Copy the JAVA AND CDMA FOLDER and paste it in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\ (the latest OS version on your PC) "yes to replace"
    4. Delete the vendor file from C:/Program files/ Common Files/ Research in Motion/ Apploader " if its not there, even better"
    5. Run AppLoader from C:/Program files/ Common Files/ Research in Motion/ Apploader

    END

    Enjoy !!!
PM me or PIN me for any help

Look at my solution above. You need both the CDMA folder and the Java folder from .122 copied on top of a 114.V3 Hybrid installation, then run the apploader. That gives you .122 with 153 platform. And a great OS at that also.

giff111, if your not having issues you will be fine, but if you want to be running on the .153 platform we will have to reinstall the OS

    When you downloaded and extracted the .122 files you should have gotten two files;
    1. Java
    2. CDMA

You need to place the downloaded .122 CDMA folder into your OS located in C:/ Program Files/ Common Files/ Research in Motion/ Shared/ Loader Files/ Your OS/ you now should be looking at ALX files, Java Folder and the CDMA folder. Place the .122 CDMA folder in here and yes to overwrite.

Go to the apploader folder located at C:/ Program Files/ Common Files/ Research in Motion/ Apploader and use the Loader.exe (looks like a phone) to install the OS again. If you need help we will be here
