Im at home where do i put the extracted folders on XP
app loader
auto update
bbbi drivers
usb drivers
bbwebsllauncher
modem drivers
rim device manager
when i copy them in the app loader section the folders stay, anyoun familar with XP
initial finds:
loads with 2mb more of memory at startup (went from v3 52.xmb to 54.xmb)
snappier, boot seems faster for me, could just be excitement
call quality is fine
had a random reboot just now when putting it back on cradle, think it as a fluke, as I can't duplicate it
camera seems a bit faster, browsing/OTA downloads seem to hang less for me
Random reboots I bet are going happen to those that merely copied over the java files and the .sfi file.
I doubt we will see random reboots with those that performed the install properly. It just seems like there are some files missing...
Memory went up by 3MB
Faster app selection
Faster typing
Boot is about the same
lock/unlock is automatic
MMS WORKS !!
call quality is about the same
Keyboard while on a call shows the dial pad
browser seems faster
camera is slower then the V3 hybrid but no big deal
no reboots "too early to tell"
I do have the full .122 install
my memory stayed the same 45mb
weird thing is i had 50+ for a long time , and then i deleted some programs including sample pics and stuff and my memory went down at startup
maybe i need to do a wipe and reinstall
i might just wait for the exe to do that lol
For those with the COPIED file install, can you hook up your phones to Crackutil and tell me what versions your files are?
Im under the assumption that the next Hybrid will be built off these Java files .122 (some, maybe not all) along with the radio/sfi file?
Hopefully we won't want a hybrid.
Just joined BBOS, can't wait CrackMan!
