For those of you having MMS issues and want to stay on .122, Go HERE for a fix.
Is it me, or did the flood waters start in here at BBOS as CB users started jumping ship? The more, the merrier!
I think I'll wait a day or so before I upgrade. I like my camera much better with the V3 hybrid. Might wait until BBC comes up with something even better!
Any one else notice when you hit BB button to bring up full screen of icons > rotate to landscape > rotate back to portrait it brings you to the home screen instead of the portrait with all the icons?

Honestly I was very hesitant about installing .122 in the manner of copy and paste. Would have really liked the complete Installation file. However curiosity got the best of me and I copied .122 Cod and Java file over V3 Hybrid and installed using the apploader. I must admit I am very satisfied. Phone is very responsive, Browser is much quicker, everything seems faster and my version in about me states 4.7.0.122. Have had no problems so far, memory is at 42.1. Another beautiful thing is now fixed that I have not seen fixed since original .75 is in Manage Connections and Network Option the Network Selection Mode now stays at Home Only if selected and does not randomly switch back to Automatic. This guarantees that the phone stays securely connected to Verizon's Network only and not wasting battery and interrupted Radio Signal unnecessarily searching. I'm actually surprised no one has ever mentioned that loss since .75. None the less it's once again fixed in .122. been waiting for that. And by the way the MMS forward also works. 122 is running GREAT!

Just opened up the new version of bloomberg on .122 and had a random reboot... not a good start to the new OS!
.122 copied over v3 is solid so far for me.Haven't tried much, but browser/phone itself seem much quicker to respond and just faster. I'll post more if there's anything else to report.
The best thing to do Brian is once you have extracted the folders from the download. Go to the extracted jave folder and open it, select all files and copy. Now go to the OS file in your loader files (C:/ program files/ common files/ shared/ loader files/ Your OS/ java (open the folder) rt click and paste, yes to overwrite.
Now go back and rt click the extracted cdma folder and copy and go back to your loader files, open the OS and rt click and paste, yes to overwrite
Now go to your loader.exe file and install
thats what i did. i am good to go havent had a random reboot or any issues since i got it loaded. i was curious how he did it because it seems a few people are having reboot issues while others arent. i was curious if the people who are having reboots removed the folders and replaced them instead of copying and pasting.
I am sure this is a stupid question but curiosity is getting the best of me. What is the difference between the cdma and the java files we installed, and the .exe file? Guess I am really just wondering if it would it have been worth waiting on?
An exe is a full install, whereas with the copy/paste technique you will likely have leftover bits of whatever OS your copying over. especially since there was only about 300 java files in the rar.
If anyone has the full exe install for .122 id really like a link, thanks

i started at around 54.5MB of memory and currently am down to 48.7MB. v3 seemed to be a little better with memory management but no complaints from me. anything in the 40s is kick a$$ to me and ive learned not to worry about memory till it gets low.![]()
overall i think .122 and v3 are equals IMHO.
I wish I could share the same memory numbers as everyone else here, but sadly I am running epocrates on my phone (required to have a drug program for school) and it is killing my memory. After finishing the install and using quickpull I am sitting at 31. Still the highest I have seen it so far, but not the numbers I am seeing everyone else post.
