BBC have you tried this one out. I have been reading that people who just copied the java and sfi files are getting random reboots. I think I am holding off until the .exe comes out or you release v3.5

I have seen the same. I am asking a few people to tell me what files did not get replaced, here are the ones so far, but I have a feeling there are more:

Second that, if i recall allot were saying .12X series had major issues and was pretty much abandoned/shelfed (at least up to .125). Not to down the recent joy of the .122 release (at least the CDMA/JAVA files). I too will be waiting for a full signature release. :D

I've been seeing mixed reviews about it so far, some say Ya, others say Na so we will see in the next 72 hours what the TRUE consensus is about this build.

I didn't copy the Java and CDMA folder, I completely removed those folders and put the new ones in its place. Phone is stellar. Fast, memory holding at around 48.5mb (I have IM+, SoftReset, WHERE, BB App Store, and the standard files, except the games). Let's see how this thing holds up over night. Haven't played with the camera yet, but I do have to say that the phone seems way more fluid, and it does reboot alot faster.

If you replaced the folders then you are missing some Java files. Not sure that they matter much, but you might happen upon a random reboot.

ill second that i copied over the other files and this thing is running nice after 24 hours well get a better feel for it.

I did the same thing but when I tried installing it said I was missing critical files. The OS I am using now is extremely stable and the reviews so far are mixed. I'm holding off until the full install comes out.

Yeah I looked at the difference between the Java files in .122 and the one I am using now and there a lot less. I can't imagine that is a good thing. I smell random reboots and OS hell lol.

Just going to wait until we get the .exe file. One of the MODs here has all the files he just trying to get into a MSI installer package which as you know is not easy. I'm sure the whole file will drop soon enough.

whats going on y'all, This .122 thing isn't for the 9530 right? I was just wondering if I should just wait for 3.5 or try .122, if thats even possible.

3.5, is still being tested, so that is up to you.

Whats your take on this, You think its worth switching? V3 is running great right now, so don't know if its even worth trying.

And then If I do switch to .122, and do a complete wipe. do I use .114 then copy and paste the .122 files there and say yes to replace the existing files?
