Sorry if i missed this in the thread but I am on 122 v3.5 hybrid on a verizon phone.
Is there any reall diff to the bell 122 or is it worth the upgrade? Phone running really well now except for memory starts at 35 and gets down to about 20 after a day, so I just quickpull. Also I heve never done a wipe so should I?

Only if you want to uprade. The hybrid is .122 with some mods to give the best from other OS's that IMO are supreior to that of straight .122. I also have my device set to reset every morning. Your app mem depends on what you have installed and what is running in the background. As far as wiping goes, I wipe every time I install a new OS, and I install a lot. Hope this helps

I tried .122 for the last 36 hours hours but thought it was a step down compared with v3.5. So in my opinion it is not worth the upgrade. Regarding your memory sounds like you are leaking somewhere. Are running any themes. What 3rd party apps do you have installed?

Just my opinion but I do a full wipe each time I install an OS.

Fact is I really like 3.5.
Best so far except for memory leak so I won't be going to bell 122 anytime soon, but do you really think a wipe and reload would help?

Ok so I took the jump from .113 / V3.5 to Bell Official .122 / V3.5 Java and so far so good. It seems more responsive from portrait to landscape. Internet seems quicker.

Will let you know about memory, reception and everything else as I use it more and more today.

so then you have standard 3.5? v3.5 is obviously java of 3.5 and cdma of .122.

SO just did a wipe and am reloading 3.5

so it wiped OK but somehow 3.5 did not load only.90 whaich I thaought I has under 3.5.

What are you trying to install? V3.5 or the Official .122?

I was trying to in stall the 3.5, but decided to give bell .122. a try. It has just installed the apps and am doing a batt pull nowe but how do I get my settings back?

Did you do a backup? This will restore your device settings as well as restore your contacts, mail and sms texts.

Backed up apps but have an older backup of settings.

Yes that is correct, v3.5.exe will overwrite any os should you choose.

Yup you can it will just replace the java files

Second Battery pull after wipe and reload and all settings and apps are back. Memory at reboot is starting at 43.6 whare as before wipe i could only start at around 36. Seems to make a big diff! I know I thanked you before bbcrackman but thanks again!!

Don't know if I will stick with this bell release or go back to your 3.5 but what are some of the main diffs? I really liked 3.5! I sopmehow bet you are working on 4.0 now:-)
