ubertwitter notifications and .230

Has anyone been able to get the notifications to work with .230?

Yeah... It works just fine. Well with the visual notifications. I haven't got any sounds out of it, if that's what you mean! Which version do you have?

If you mean the little red notification on the homescreen icon then, no. There is a bug right now in 230 that prevents 3rd party icons from updating. If you go to the app screen you should see the notifications.

What Nate said, but the little uber icon will show up on the main screen at the top where the other message notifications are! That one is accurate...

yes I get the icon just not any sound running .925 of uber.

i get sound intermittently. the icon always pops up though.

alittle ot but ever since I installed .230 today PC does not reconize phone when plugged in. The charge lighting bolt show on phone but pc does not see the phone. Have reboot pc and pulled battery on phone. Any suggetions?

I just installed this last night, and the visual notifications are working for me-- haven't set a notification tone, so not sure about the audio one (may be blending with the 90,000 other "alerts" I have going off :dunce

*just discovered there are no audio tones... so YES my Notifications are working on the full 230 =) *

i know what the op is stating i posted this before in the 216 findings thread.
on os4.7 there was options in profiles for 3rd party apps or "other" as it is on the phone . like ubertwitter meterberry etc

but in the os 5.0 there is no option only facebook and browser .
this is a feature that personally i miss .
it used to piss the mrs of something rotten with the tone i had for new tweets.

just wondering how you get it to vibrate when the option to set it to vibrate
is no longer there .
i get the visual notifications the amounts may not refresh all the time but defo no vibrate or sound courious as to how you get the vibrate.

This is an issue with the 5.0.0.230 OS. If you have this OS and somehow have any type of audio notification, consider yourself lucky.

This goes along with the funky scrolling you see. They are working on trying to fix it but for now there isn't really anything you can do about it.

At least the smaller icon at the top works still! The Weather Bug Elite thermometer icon doesn't update there at the top with this OS so at least the UT does!
