HOLY SHIT!! I figured out what I did wrong! I'm a moron. I forgot I renamed the .114 file with an "A" at the end like you guys suggested in the instructions with V3. Will remove the A and try again later.....at least I hope thats what I screwed up...lol
That is for the 9530 correct
Rebooting now....that was some fun drama earlier today.
I believe the shared folder will be missing UNLESS you have an Blackberry OS installed on your PC . So if you removed yours (using control panel) and never got around to installing the one you want to update to, there won't be a shared folder in that directory. Hope that helps.

I have Verizon can it work and how do I get the down loan on my Phone?
I just uninstalled the .114 hybrid that i had installed through Add/Remove programs. Reinstalled the .114 file, and then copied/replaced the files in the download, and then ran the app loader. When smooth as silk, and so far, it seems as though .122 is slight better than the v3 bbcrackman hybrid.
Maybe crackman will make a hybrid with this new .122. See what he comes up with then.
Honestly I was very hesitant about installing .122 in the manner of copy and paste. Would have really liked the complete Installation file. However curiosity got the best of me and I copied .122 Cod and Java file over V3 Hybrid and installed using the apploader. I must admit I am very satisfied. Phone is very responsive, Browser is much quicker, everything seems faster and my version in about me states 4.7.0.122. Have had no problems so far, memory is at 42.1. Another beautiful thing is now fixed that I have not seen fixed since original .75 is in Manage Connections and Network Option the Network Selection Mode now stays at Home Only if selected and does not randomly switch back to Automatic. This guarantees that the phone stays securely connected to Verizon's Network only and not wasting battery and interrupted Radio Signal unnecessarily searching. I'm actually surprised no one has ever mentioned that loss since .75. None the less it's once again fixed in .122. been waiting for that. And by the way the MMS forward also works. 122 is running GREAT!

Here's my 2 cents....
I'm on the BELL Canada network and have just loaded the latest OS ver .122
with no problems.
I have a 9530 for those that may ask, and yes on the Bell network!
I was running .114 with the hybrid 3 update.
I copied the two files (CDMA & JAVA) from the .122 version and copied them over in the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files directory. Was asked to overwrite and did.....went up two C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\apploader and ran the darn thing.
Ten minutes later...I'm running .122
Proof is in the picture I took...so nothing to question if it was edited!!!

Sorry bout the double post. Posted from my BB and it didn't show my post after the first one for some reason.
First post here, woot! Been keeping with updates for my 9530 Storm for a while now. Grabbed .122, overwrote the v3 hybrid w/ .122. Ran AppLoader it showed that updates were available. It updated all the apps but paused while waiting for the BB to re-initialize even through the BB initialized. Unplugged USB and plugged it back and then it restored all data. Everything seems great so far! Touch screen seems to be more responsive than before.
