Thread: Ok me again...mem card error

ok guys this is plagueing me and i really want to be good at it and learn how to do more stuff but i suck...got a 9530 with .114 v3 that i just reloaded yesterday and now it wont recongnize any memory cards.....you really can beat me down i am too limited in knowledge....

Have you tried reformatting the memory card? First let's get it recongnized. Pull the battery out of the phone, take out the memory card. Make sure the memory does not look damaged. Then reinsert memory card and put battery back in. Then from options on your phone, go to memory, hit the BB button, then hit format. Format only the media card.

its good but wont that clear all the data on it?

Don't worry feel free to ask any question you like. Yes reformatting the card will erase all data on it. However, it sounds like your SD card might be corrupt. Did you try doing a battery pull, taking the memory card, placing it back in then restarting your phone?

i dont know its my coworkers phone and my day off she has to back it up first...heres the catch 22 other phones read it and her phone wont read one period am i going ot have to reinstall v3 again?
