Thread: I just dumped the java files from......

the .252 build on the 9500 device emulator; and copied them into my 5.0.0.230 Java directory. I am now going to attempt to load this "hybrid" onto my 9530.

Who thinks I will fail miserably?

Ahhhhh.... Oh well, it's already in progress; good excuse for a wipe and reinstall though; been adding/removing tons of apps and themes. Time to clean things out. And besides, it's a rainy chilly evening out, so i've nothing better to do.

EDIT: Of course watch, i'll get everything all nice and tidied up, and .288 will pop up out of nowhere.

Well, it managed to physically install..... Now lets see what kind of wacky and fun errors I get while it tries to boot.......


EDIT: It gives me a "reload software 561" error.

Well, I did "brick" it, but am now halfway through the process of unbricking it. So life is good once again.

EDIT: I have to keep my OS reloading skills up somehow, ya know!
