Memory and .114 v3

ok so i have heard and seen everyone talk about the memory taking its self up all day on v3 mine goes down...i keep everything closed my event log clean browser cache clean and the 3rd party apps i have are iheartradio crackberry launcher myspacelauncer appworld shazam and viigo....which i dont think are all that many if i do a batt pull i will have around 42 with in 3-5 hrs after clearing everything again and no batt pull im at32.8 and if i let it go by tonite be around 19-20.5.... and last question the option that says memory cleaning....will that clear my contacts and saved messages or is it just like a tune up?


Edit- and now i feel like an ass....lol i just read on a diff forum here that the number doesnt really matter as long as phone performace good butttttt....when i get down under 25 i get the spinny clock alot more and a bit laggy

disable memory cleaning, it only seems to make things worse.

I found a great app called "Memory Eye" it's $2.99 in the App World (or on the MobiHand website). It's a tiny app, taking up virtually no memory. It monitors your app memory, & can alert you when your memory reaches a certain threshold (preset by you). Upon alert, you can either "snooze" the warning & it will alert you when it gets a few MB lower, or you can reboot your device, which simulates a batt pull, so you won't have to pull off the cover & physically remove your battery (same as "quickpull" or "softreset" apps). There's a 2 day trial, so try it, & if you don't like it, then don't pay. Also, it seems to be a promising app with upgrades to come & if you purchase, you get all the updates to the app for life. No more checking memory & no more batt pulls, check it out!

As an FYI Viigo takes a significant toll on memory as well overall performance on the phone. I know people love this app so I am not suggesting you remove it. Just pointing out that it could be a possible cause to your memory leak and performance issues. If you want to check it out unistall Viigo do a battery pull and monitor your memory over a 24 hour period. You can always reinstall it.
