    Please help!

I have been at this for over 6 hours now, and I really could use some help.

I am running a 9530 on AT&T, ver 4.70.114 (platform 4.0.0.143) or .114 hybrid v3. I just downloaded and installed that using Apploader, deleted the vendor file and ran the How To Get All Featues on AT&T. I resend the Service Books (no email stating they hit the phone) and I also went into the Host Routing and re-registered the phone (several times), but the registration message never comes in.

I am using wap settings: wap.cingular Username: WAP at CINGULARGPRS.COM Password: CINGULAR1

I am running the diagnostic test right now, and it keeps locking up. I get the following:
    Signal Level: -86dBm
    Radio Access: Edge
    Network: AT&T
IP Address 0.0.0.0 (doesn't sound good).

I deleted the BB software off of my computer several times, and re-installed it. I did NUMEROUS battery pulls, but to no avail.

It just simply seems that I am not connecting to the radio, no matter what I try (yes it is on). I also do NOT see the "reconcile" option in email.

    Can someone please help?

Yes, using Crackutil and thanks, the data services says On, Mobile Network:AT&T, Network Selection Mode: Automatic (dropdown only contains Automatic), and Network Technology: Global (GSM/UMTS, 1XEV, and Global) are are the choices.

For some reason this screen looked different before I installed v3 .114.

A few emails came in, but there is no "Reconcile" in the menu.....something is off, but I have no idea why

Based on the platform number you are not on the hybrid you are on 114 only. The PL# for the v3 hybrid is 144. I would suggest starting from scratch. Make sure you copy and paste the hybrid files correctly into 114. You should get the message to overwrite all, say yes to this. Make sure to delete the vendor.xml file and reinstall.

One question when you resent service books did go here: http://www.att.blackberry.com/

Also try re-registering the phone on the network. Go into options - advanced options - host routing table - click the BB button - press Register now. Then do a battery pull.

Yes that is the first thing to do is get the hybrid installed on your phone since 143 is not the hybrid. You will no you have the hybrid when your platform # is 144 in the about screen. Let us know once you have completed this step.

Yes that is correct. Once you have the hybrid installed to your phone it will say:

    Version 4.7.0.114, Platform 4.0.0.144

Also, yes I resent the service books from there, and ran the Register now in the Host Routing tables. Notifications do not follow.

Let's see how things go once you get the hybrid installed. By the way, what OS are you upgrading from?

I picked up the phone on eBay and the previous owner was running .144 (I am not sure which platform). Whatever platform it was, the numberpad wouldn't work when I was on a call in voicemail etc. I pushed the numberkeypad and nothing happened.

Of course, everything was working just fine, emails/web browsing until I noticed the numberpad issue.

.144 has not been released yet. You were on .114 that was the OS that had the keyboard issue. The platform number for .114 is .143

Yeah the number pad issue was annoying. People developed a work around for that but all in all v3 is a much better OS.
