    I never saw the answer to Neolantis' question regarding the BIS saying "not connected" Mine also says "not connected but I seem to get e-mails etc.

    Also, what is the difference between 1XEV and the ev?

    delete your, account, . Likewise, delete the service books off your BB (Options, Advanced, Service Books, choose the ones with the @ email address, click to delete.Then Battery Pull (kills the ip connection)and then set it back up again You can resend the service books from the Verizon BIS website, providing Verizon is his carrier

    Although it sounds like you're fine with running .90, it sounds like you were having the same issue as me, what I did to correct it was completely delete the v4.7.0.114 (Platform 4.0.0.143) folder and paste the new hybrid v3 v4.7.0.114 (Platform 4.0.0.144) folder in it's place. then it worked. So if you get the urge to try it, do that, I bet it works!

    The problem Bear is that he is on AT&T as opposed to VZW. Unfortunately the radio code associated with v3 (which is from 113) will not allow a stable EDGE connection. After .90 this problem starting occurring on GSM networks. This is why we had him revert to .90 so that he could maintain a stable connection and get his phone operational again.
