Thread: Signal Problem with 5.0.0.230

Hello to everyone i downloaded and loaded this OS previously i was using the .230 hybrid , these are some of my experiences .

I live outside the us, and on my building the signal has always been crapy but never the less i always could find spots to make calls and receive them without cutting of , i have been using this version for 3 days now and i can not receive or make calls in my house i don't know why with 4.7 all calls went trough and most of them cut of but with this version of 5.0 my calls don't come in and when i try to make calls on the spots that i had the calls cuts off.

Also sometimes the phone gives me no service when i am on my house that never happened before i always had signal a shitty one but the phone always got 0 to 1 bars.

Can anyone enlighten me if this issue can be fixed???

My only suggestion to you would be to try another OS.

This method could prove or disprove the theory that the OS that you currently have on your device may be causing your issue.

You are the first member that I have seen having this issue so there is not much experience to draw off of.

Well earlier this month before all of my updates i was using 4.7 and i was able to manage the calls in my building.

Do you recommend maybe switching to a different radio file ?? to the earlier version i was using ??.

I cannot recommend this to you as I have not swapped any 5.0 radio files.

I would suggest a 4.7 hybrid. Most of the hybrids contain 5.0 OS files in them.

Lyricidal makes a 4.7 hybrid that uses 5.0 files. You can find it here... http://www.blackberryos.com/forums/h...ngs-fixes.html

You'll need to install .151 as your OS and you can get it here... http://www.berryosfiles.com/download.../4.7.0.151.zip
