I have tried those too, personally for me the .103/.106 was the most stable for me. I did not try the .103/.109 hybrid so I cant speak for that one. I am appreciative that I am afforded the opportunity to mod....Though I do have some regrets in sharing the info with others on another site. It turned into a mess.

Make sure to review the READ ME doc and follow the instructions

Hybrid .103/.109

Let me know if you have any questions, pretty much the same as .103/.106

BBC. Thanks man. I'm downloading your Hybrid now... I'll post my results here. Your efforts are appreciated. Why's it so much bigger than the standard OS, which is usually around 135mb?

Also, is this basically just 103, with 109 Java files?

I have include the original 4.7.103 exe file so nobody has to search for it.

it has 103 and 109 java files

They dont have to search far, all they have to do is go back one directory and they'll find it ;)

I am aware of that, this was put together before this forum was here. I did not disassemble the zip.
Not to mention it is only one download for all of it instead of multiple downloads

Hi guys!

The noob I am upgraded his Storm 9005 to .109 as you and others advise and... the whole process went just fine and seems to be working all the more!!!
Looks that battery life has quite improved... Good news!

Hey all, It seems that I'm the only stupid person that has a problem with CrackMans Bundle package... I've tried to get this working quite a few times (After re-installing the original .78 software again, still with no luck.

: ) The instructions r simple enough -

-Installed the .103 patch onto my XP laptop,
-Copied the contents of the .109 folder into the already installed .103 folder (Overwriting the contents)
-Deleted the Vendor file
-Loaded the BB Desktop Manager
-Connected my 9530
-Pointed the software to the new 'Hybrid' version
-Hit the start button

And then...

: ) It just sits there and blows raspberry's at me, followed by a message that says fatal error has occurred...

Now I would love to run this .109 hybrid on my Storm, if anyone could help me out here i'd be very great full! Sadly my my skills lie in Fruit machines (Gamblers) and Visuals (Veejay) so if I can help anyone out in those departments, then please feel free to ask : D

i have uploaded and installed as you suggesti am showing version .103 installed shouldnt it show .109? also no green go button did i screw up somewhere?

There are 3 files in the bundle.
1 is the RIM 4.7.0.103.exe os, you need to double click and install this OS
2 the other file is the 4.7.0.103 hybrid (.109) you need to right click and copy the entire folder.

Then go to C:>program files> common files> shared> loader file and right click and paste. Yes to overwrite. then back up to the apploader file, delete the vendor xml and use Loader.exe.

Did you do this?
