Hey guys. First time poster here. Recently made the switch from Treo 700wx to the 9530.
I wasn't real happy with the 9530, then I found this forum. Since, I've downloaded and installed the .109 hybrid. Couldn't be happier! I have a totally different 9530 now. Much faster and smoother.
Couldn't have done it without the help of all of u that contributed to this forum. Thx guys.
Anxiously awaiting the next leak or hopefully official release.
Hey guys, I am new here.
I have followed carefully the instructions on the first post. I had installed .75 in my computer before hand. Nothing happened in the end. There was no update. I uninstalled .75, restarted my computer but nothing. When I do the apploader, it reads the 3rd party apps but the core applications from the new OS are missing.
.109 for the 9500 wont work on the 9530, if you want to use the 103 / .109 hybrid you need to download the zipfile. The link is here once downloaded install the .103exe file then follow the instructions contained in the readme file. If you just want to install the Leaked Beta 4.7.0.109 you can download that here If you have any questions we are here to help
Thanks for your prompt response. Then, the first post is wrong? It says I need .103 for 9530 and .109 for 9500
No, at the time .109 had not been released for the 9530. Since its writing 109 came out for the 9530. The zip file is a combo of the two OS's already built for you. The original post describes how to build the hybrid yourself. It was just simplified in the zip file. Now .109 is out for the 9530 so you can just load the beta OS if you choose. It is all in what you prefer. We are here to help.
Hello Team,
I am looking to upgrade to .109 as I have the 9530 and running 103 now. Can I do this with launcher or with DTM and if so where can I get .109?

I got a quick question.
In the zip file i downloaded. Theres some .alx files.
Do i need to put them in the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9530-v4.7.0.114_P4.0.0.143 ....folder or does everything go in the Java folder. Im guessing the java folder cuz they're irrelevant...right?
