Is there any difference from the 230 I already have installed?

Yes you can download directly and yes they all work

Can anyone enlighten us as to the major differances between this "full" os .230 and the "hybrid" style one, we all loaded? Are there any major differances in the function of the newer os?

Yes it's posted on the home page. However the forums are very quiet, no one is saying much about it.

may not have hit everyones radar yet.. kinda early in the nite for leaks... only 530 on west coast too

I have downloaded the new release, my phone is being wiped, 3rd party apps backed up, data backed up, new release night, looking forward to a pure 230, and hoping for a Hybrid soon. Woo Hoo. Wish MeterBerry would release an update.

You guys know the deal.. try to post differences you notice between with this and the hybrid version if any.

I will install this version as soon as I am able to get BBSAK to work...

no RIM tools

Noticed you use peekawho as one of your apps..does it still work for you. Mine stopped working once I installed .230..

I see that too but the file size is huge compared to the previous leaks, makes me wonder if the tools are in a different place that isn't as easy to delete. I'm showing the OS at 166 mb, usually it's around 104 or so.

it's weird...it works but cannot be changed any because i cannot open the app.

Truthfully I didn't even look at the download, I opened it and walked away but when I went to delete the Rim Tools in the control panel and saw it wasn't there I landed on the OS and it shows 166MB in the programs and features section on Vista 32
