I don't know if this will work for you or not but when I was having the same problem it turned out to be that I wasn't running shrink an os "as administrator" on Vista 32. If you right click on the icon for shrink an os then choose "run as administrator" it works.Originally Posted by logitec

OMG I MADE A NUB MISTAKE. Just realized im on win 7 on this comp.
Just loaded full 230... I still can not get the mms to work on this OS either....
I am om AT&T.....When I send the mms EDGE goes to edge and it will not send.
Any Suggestions?
Thanks for anyones help.
ok so I installed the "real" leak and now i dont have the Gmail plugin....I tried going to the OTA download and it says its not compatible....how do i get it back?
Havn't seen anyone ask,
Has this fixed or changed the volume issue w/alerts.Love 5.0.0.230 but hate not having sounds. Have to use vibrate only because of alerts.
I had a problem with the "hybrid" 230 where it always thought I was trying to select text when I was really flick scrolling. Full 230 seems to have resolved this.
the volume will be the same in this build I believe.. i ahve been too busy last 24 to even begin to think about loading this
Also I have not run into the bug where the bottom or right row of icons is blacked out. Previously a portrait to landscape flip or vice-versa would fix it but I have not seen it on full 230 as of yet.
I think I posted in the wrong .230 findings thread, so here it goes again:
I've been running the 9530 .230 (non-hybrid) since last night, and so far I am pretty happy:
PRO's:
+ Speed.. everything works fast, including browser
+ 5.0 bling.. flick scrolling, threaded sms, 3G, etc works well
+ media seem to work (pandora, TV streaming from CBS, etc)
+ google sync app works
+ my "InTheKnow-Slide-Storm" theme still works
Con's:
- GPS apps don't seem to work (Google Maps, nogago, bbtracker, etc.. I noticed BBMaps wasn't installed; I'll try adding it later to see if it fixes other GPS apps)
-I had the 'no SMS typing box' bug for my first attempted SMS from contacts; all others seem to work fine after closing that first one.
-MeterBerry dies with error at launch.. possibly the source of another error I recieve at OS start up? (error at OS startup wasn't there before I added apps)
-Some direct weblink shortcuts don't work (NY Times, etc)
think i'll just stick with the hybrid install till a new version is out
