Only the email notification works for me and not the sms..I deleted it and went with aerize alerts for now. Its not as good but its a temp replacement..

I didn't understand that, could you explain what you meant?

I'm installing it right now. On first reboot. Will let you know the differences. I already shrunk it down to 35MB.

You aren't going to notice any difference

I installed it and I haven't noticed an differences from the .230 "hybrid" I was using. I take that back, voice dialing is working and it wasn't with the "hybrid".

So there is no benefit of installing this over the hybrid?

Tell me you're kidding...What is the point of leaking an OS that has no difference(s)? I guess we win some and we lose some...take in the good as well as the bad huh? Thanks anyways for the honesty!

The benefit would be not having a cobbled together OS instead of the real thing.

I shrunk too, but it starts around 72mb or 76mb then I got it down to 32mb. The 120 you referred to has the core OS stuff that shrink an OS doesn't read, at least that's my understanding, granted I could be wrong and if I am don't tell my wife, I'll never hear the end of it :laugh2:

perhaps you forgot that the original leak wasn't a complete OS. others took it upon themselves to make installers and add/remove files so that us eager beavers could get a taste of the .230 goodness. and who knows, perhaps i just haven't noticed anything yet. someone else may find that things that weren't there before are now.

I read about that on here before..It has something to do w/S2..Can you elaborate on that a bit if you can and post more findings please

Just remember that the hybrid that BBOS provided was a leak of 230. We were just unable to give out the original files due to the lack of an exe. So you are pretty much using the full 230 with the hybrid. But if you prefer not to use hybrids then by all means intall the exe. It's totally up to you. But just don't expect to see any differences
