Thread: What would you like to see improved or fixed in Hybrid v3.5

Maybe it's just me but my signal really seems to suck with V3. I barely get anything in my office. It was much better with V1.

Radio Fix for Tmobile EDGE stability. (I have been using .90 radio on all of my OS's.) Faster camera. Color banding. Memory Leak/Memory Management improvement. Battery Drain Improvement. Again, Thanks in advanced and Great Job on your Work and Efforts.

As long as your phone performs well it's irrelevant whether you have 50mb or 20mb of available memory. My point exactly. Why don't you and Cruz etal just tell everyone to get over it and move on to something constructive. Complaining about memory loss that has no effect on performance is a waste of BBC's and everyone's time.

I would love for improvements in the camera.

1). Faster
2). Sometimes I can only take 1 picture at a time. I'll take one picture and push the camera button to take another picture and the camera just won’t take another picture. It will save the first picture, but it won’t take another. I will have to close out of the camera all together & restart the camera. This has happened numerous times.

Also, an improvement in the playing of videos is needed. Like was mentioned previously, when you get out of the video the bottom menu bar will stay stuck on the front screen. I end up having to pull the battery to fix this.

Need to know if it's just me. Has anyone tried this? I actually noticed it since Version 109. Try saving a birthday to one of your contacts and see if your phone completely freezes. I've been having to add the birthday in Outlook then sync it to my phone. Very annoying. Is it just my phone?

Welcome to BBOS PRINCEJUDAH. I just tried this and had problems. I'm running the Hybrid v3.

Just added a birthday and anniv. and no problems. Called in and out with no freeze.

Thank you interesting how some have the problem and some don't. I have not been able to ever since v109. maybe I need a wipe, downgrade to official .75 then put back 114 v3. But i'll wait until v3.5 is released before I even bother.

yes, results sound very similar to the mms bug people are having. If someone knew what .cod file controls the communication between contacts and calender, there might be a way to fix. Possibly. I would be interested to hear if flashing back to .75 fixes this.

Interesting just tried the anniversary also and my phone froze. Doing a battery pull now :-( Guess the birthday and the anniversary link to calender are controled by the same cod file.

Running 114 v3 and just added a bday and anniversary and no freezing. Just FYI.

I would LOVE to see the profiles fixed. I made a custom profile for when I'm at work (Iwork in a service shop) so I have it set to vibrate 3 times, then ring. It works for my normal contacts but my wife and home number I have a custom ringtone set and for them it just rings no vibrate. So if I'm with a customer it rings loud, lmao. I wish the profiles where like with my pearl...this is my last complaint on the phone, everything else is fixed to my satisfaction so let's hope either the next hybrid or the official release fix this???

Hmmm, I just added a b-day and an anniversery and everything worked fine.
Have you done a battery pull, leave out for 60 seconds and reinstall.

Just added anniversary and birthday and no problems. Strange how these phones work.

Yeah I've had this issue ever since I left official V.75. many leaked and Hybrid upgrades and many battery pulls later and nada. There are a few others who have the same problem though. I think maybe a wipe is at hand.

I guess this problem is just mine and I cant seem to figure it out but I would like to have the lock/unlock fixed. Otherwise I love it. Keep up the cool work.

Is there any chance of getting the large keys back in landscape mode without sacrificing other good performance/features? I'm always hitting the right sym key when I reach for the space bar. The keyboard is my only issue at this point. v3 is running great for me!!

I could be wrong but that would require using files from .90 which was extremely unstable. Remember VSOD
