I know that I have asked this before but I have been gone for a bit and lost it. Can I get a step by step directions on how to to install to .114 V3 from .109.

There is a readme file in the hybrid zip. Where, specifically, are you having trouble?

never have done this. I installed 109 but dont know how I did it. I guess I am scared. and I am not sure what needs to be copied and pasted and where it goes.

What have you done so far if anything?

Have you downloaded and installed the .114exe file yet?

Nothing yet to my phone. I have downloaded and extracted the .114 and the VE files on my computer.

Hi .. I guess I didn't have much luck on my first OS upgrade.
Tried to go from *.75 to *114 hybrid V3. Followed detailed instructions posted @ crackberry.com to the very last detail.. however on the screen "Updating your device" it got stuck for more than an hour on the fourth step:"Connect to device ROM". Device looked like turned off, no white screen. So, after an hour and 30 min I had to kill the installation..

After crashed install attempt, battery pull .. Options > about> still on *75 ... looks like nothing got installed ..
I really appreciate a hand...

Welcome to BBOS martinezfk, A couple Questions for you. Where did you download .114? What OS is your PC running? And what's your phone carrier? I'm sure we can get you fixed up.

I downloaded it from crackberry.com, first time performing an os. upgrade.
my pc is runnin XP SP3, the carrier is vzw. thks.

try downloading this copy of .114. HERE There have been a couple instances that the .114 people have been downloading was corrupt. I know that this is a good working copy. Lets start there.

Ok thanks .. downloading it as we speak..
while on it, I'd appreciate if any of you can share (or point me to where I can find it) info about what would be the steps 2 follow if i wanted to go back to *.75 ?? . seems like many of you use different methods to install new OS/leak: run JL_Cmd, or go back to official then new leaked os, etc ..

The easiest way is to:

1. Uninstall your current phone OS on your pc in the add/remove programs.
2. download .75 and install it on your PC.
3. Backup your phone.
4. Install .75 on your phone with apploader. (c/program files/common files/Apploader files/loader

Just to clarify..
Currently, under Control Panel > Add or Remove programs, I have two RIM's entries: "Blackberry Desktop Software 4.7", and "Blackberry Device Software Updater".
so my questions are:
1. Do I need to uninstall any of these prior to installing 114??
2. Is any of these the *.75?

If you dont have an entry like the one highlighted, your good to install .114 on your pc.

If you haven't installed .114 on your pc yet, it won't be there
If you have installed .114 on your pc and still dont have a shared file folder, chances are your DM is corrupt. I would tyr uninstalling it and redownloading.

Hey shane its says you have anydvd installed any good ??
