You cant Wipe if you cant connect it to your PC...

BUT i just solved my problem... stupidest thing too...

5.0 core applications default permissions were set to "custom" !!!
I changed the default permissions to ALLOW for EVERY thing in the CORE folder... and it all works now !!!

For any site officials/ mods/ help team guys reading...
This may be something to post on install notes!!

I read over at (the OTHER site) a few people that were having the same problems as me:
Usb connectivity issues
Charging notification

No one there had a fix either.

I Just updated my bothers storm to .230, just for kicks to see if the problem was just mine. His installed and connected perfectly! So i started digging. While goin through the applications list i jus happened to look at the default permissions for the Core apps.. and there it was. Mine was set to custom, where when i checked his... was set to allow.
Made the oh so simple change to mine and Poof! Everything connects perfectly!!!
Charging msg is gone( i get the lightning bolt), BBsak, DM, and JlCmdr all connect as they should!!!

Thanks for figuring this out! My phone did this and I'm waiting on a reboot to see if what you said helps but I'm sure it will. Rep added!

Just an FYI, this fixed my issue for a whole 2 days and it came back after a BP, so i may suggest, a clean RE-install of 230 once u get connection back as this whole issue may spawn from a small fault (not ours of course) in the original 230 install. I did just this and have had no further issues!
