Okay All i have run a test, although un scientific: I am trying to find out what is causing my 20MB decrease in memory on a daily basis.
I deleted app world for a day ran only the stock theme and memory went from 38 MB to 37 MB started phone at 6:00 AM and night time 11pm turn off.
Next day I deleted Berryweather and performed a battery pull at 6 am. starting memory 39 MB ending memory 37 MB at 11 pm.
there may be other apps out there that leak memory, and I know that these programs are written with the 4.7 sdk and they will be optimized for 5.0 when 5.0 sdk is officially released.
All test were conducted with no themes installed except stock theme. Other programs installed were: CaptureIt, googlemaps, Greenfinder, QuickLaunch, and StormLock.
I am going to go without the berryweather app because I think this is the leak problem for me.
I hope this helps others.

I noticed 230 has some kind of leak that wasn't in 191 as well. Though it hasn't caused any problems lately, a day or so after install my app memory got as low as 11 mb. I did a battery pull and since then it settles at about 30 and haven't had a problem since. Kinda odd but I can't complain this os rocks
Memory on mine just sits at 35.6MB and if it does vary, it's only by 0.1MB or so.
Running "noinfo1" version of 5.0.0.230 (BBCrackman's updated hybrid)
Apps Installed:
BBM
Youtube
Google Maps
Google Sync
Opera Mini 5 Beta
Ferrari GT racing game
Jeopardy Deluxe
Tetris Pop
River Runner 3D
Frazzle
Flood
Air Traffic Control
Freddy Falling
Wrath
Madden NFL 2010
Solitare Buddy Gold
So relatively heavy app load here, and no leakage problems. Do note though, that I have nothing installed that runs in the background (weather apps, etc.)
Yeah...I actually find that out of all the 5.0 leaks that I tried, .230 is slightly behind all of them... I'm not complainin though... cause I'm sitting pretty at the moment with 41.0 MB of free App memory :cool2:
Apps:
Yahoo! Messenger
MSN Messenger
Opera 5.0 BETA
Berryweather
BBM 4.7
Word Mole
WAY OFF TOPIC HERE BUT....
OMG!! Olta is gorgeous!
I guess my issue is the small amount of free app memory at boot up, compared with what I was getting with .151....
I'm loaded up pretty good with apps, and am not leaking terribly too much during the day (< 8 mb)....booting with only 30 mb though.....
with more apps I was booting up with at least 40 mb with .151....
seems odd that a 5.0 OS wouldn't be able to create more free app memory, but maybe I'm not understanding....

Glad to have found this thread, memory leak on .230 seems touchy. I'll have to follow some of the suggestions here to see if I don't fall 30mb throughout the day. Device doesn't get sluggish really, will randomly freeze for a bit.
I've had no memory issue at all with .230. I installed as soon as it leaked and I can go days without doing a battery pull. Boot up at 41.9 and only drop about 2MB in a couple of days! I have a pile of apps. and themes installed.
