Hi I am a old user of your hybrids, super hybrid 2. Is actually nice, much stable. I really had to do 5 batt pulls, in order to boot it properly.

One problem, GTalk and Facebook latest versions are not working. Any solution?

Not sure why those applications are not working I am sure that the Hybriders will look into this for you. Thanks for the updated information.

those latest applications of IMs and FB are only working with OS5 later than 190. So, hybrids with sfi less then 190 won't work. Until someone come up with later version of OS5 for 9500, they won't work.

AHM, there's always the message, can't load BatteryLog, some files are missing.

What did I do wrong?

I deleted the Rim internal files and now it can't load the E-mail settings.

I'm used to instal hybridfiles, but this time something went wrong, help?

Did you use Shrink A OS? If yes, did you shrink out Attachment Service? Also, can you define Email Settings?

no i did not use shrink a os . I don't know whats the matter.
I tried it with deleting the whole loader file directory, then I put the files for german back in JAVA . . .

and I've tried to overwrite the existing files.
Perhaps I'm waiting for another one, or with another PC.

must be something going on with my settings.
the 5.0.0.140 Hybrid beta from lyricidal works fine

But when I try to install this one, it abords by the EMail settings

This is what you need to do:

Remove all old OS from your PC [Control Panel > Add Remove]
Go into "Shared" folder and remove the folder "Loader Files" if present
Install 5.0.0.140 [9500 edition]
Remove RIM Internal Tools
Copy the Java folder from the .rar file on the OP over the Java Folder under the OS folder "9500EastAsia_v5.0.0.140_P4.2.0.17"
Add the German Language cods to the Java folder

Back up your phone.
Wipe your phone using BBSAK 1.5 or JL_Cmder [I prefer BBSAK]

Disconnect from Internet, once this is done, run the Loader.exe which you can find under the Apploader folder or use BBSAK's Load OS.

Has anyone trying this hybrid been using 230 prior to this hybrid? I'm wondering what the differences are, which apps work on each OS, etc. I haven't tried straight 230 yet, but I'm thinking about it.

I have discovered as well that the new FB and Myspace apps don't work with this hybrid either, and while I like flickscroll a lot, the email and sms glitches are really getting on my nerves.

Any opinions?

Why you can't use this hybryd. I'm but making no hybrid for 9530/5.0.0.230. I might release media player fix but that's it. Really no need for a hybrid with that os Its pretty much perfect.

additionally to what randy said that is actually a problem with t-mobile and this build. There is not going to be anything you can really do until we get a new leak.

There must be a fix. All OS's upto .154 worked. There can't be that many file changes to make it not compatible. I know a lot less than you guys about BB but I can't understand how tmos networks just cant work on the .154 and up builds. Really doesn't make sense. There has to be a certain file that makes this error in the network connection. Atleast that is what I want to believe, so's i can dream about little tmos and little VZW interacting in a equal world.

well first its in the radio file and that can not be edited... that would be the problem... it sucks but remember that technically you are using a phone on a network that its not designed to work on
