well honestly if u want that u will need 230 but u want have bbm 5. since its pretty much a perfect os u dont need a hybrid for it

I did a wipe, did not restore any settings of mine, just contacts, calendar, sms and email using Smrtguard which also seems to work fine so far. I was using BBCrackman's 8.5 and decided to give this one a try.

I got it loaded without problems, but had some weird issues to start with. It was in between the 5 battery pulls, so that may have had something to with it.

This is the first 5.0 version I have tried, and the biggest reason I didn't install the 5.0 versions before was because of BBM 5 and the camera issues. I can live without the Facebook app until 1.7 becomes available.

I can happily report that my camera and BBM 5 both seem to work flawlessly. I love the flick scrolling, but is does cause some weird graphical problems sometimes. Overall, it seems to be very fast when compared to BBCrackman 8.5. Meterberry will not do the batpull, but seems to work fine otherwise. Slacker Radio seems to be working (haven't done a long test yet), Stormslider works well. I'll post an update when I chance to try some more apps and see how stable it is.

Well, I'm running this one since about 48h now and I have to say: "Respect, Lyricidal, OoaKDPC and team!"
So far I had only extreme minor issues which were manifesting themselves in one random reboot while I was typing and one accelerometer confusion (portrait homescreen suddenly was upside down and missing the icons) after pulling my Storm out of the holster, which was locked with PatternLock. But no reboots ever since and the accelerometer could be brought back to normal behavior with the End-Call-Button.
I'm running not so many 3rd party apps on my phone, just BerryBuzz 2.1.22 (which is flawless), PatternLock 1.1.8.2, Viigo 3.1.454 and Google Maps. All of them, except this one time occurance with PatternLock, are running fine. BBM is working fine as well.
Before (4.7) I still had to use QuickPull Pro, but it became useless for me since the hybrid is very stable in terms of memory and overall performance.
Browser and phone are working without any reason for complaints. FlickScrolling is great, except Messages, Callog, etc. But this we know already.
Up to now I love this hybrid over any other for 9500 users available OS. Keep up the excellent work, guys and I'm looking forward to any further goodies you have to offer in the future.

One more thing. Some users were reporting, that they could not make any phone calls on 3G anymore and had to switch to 2G. For internet they had to go back to 3G but still had issues with their browser. I also heard of problems with the BIS connection. Is this hybrid related or network/radio related. Is there any fix for this?

Wnat if we use the .140 radio with the .230 java will BBM5 then work?
