    Hey there I know exactly what you mean I had to do the same thing with google sync. I would suggest you start a new thread and post some quick instructions on how someone could help you.

    If you want to do it yourself you would have to downgrade to 4.7 and save a backup and then upgrade and load with bbsak.

    i will start a new post cause i have a great working install of .230. i hear all these problems a few users are having and i am scared to screw with it. lol.

    Okay... I need some serious help... I have been running .230 for about 5 days now but i recently noticed yesterday that when I make or receive calls I'm not hearing anything on the other end but the person I'm talking to can hear me perfectly... Now I'm really hoping that its the OS and not my phone cause this has never happened before... i'm at work so i can't load another OS till I get home so any help would be appreciated.

    try booting your phone in safe mode to see if it works. To do that pull the battery and when you put it back in hold the end key down until done

    red light just keeps going off and on when i try to boot in safe mode... why is that happening?

    I found out why I was getting this error message:

    Uncaught exception: net.rim.device.api.system.ControlledAccessExceptio n

    I did a fresh install and added apps until I got the error, and the culprit is Pocket Informant. Besides getting the error message, everything else is running great.

    Sometimes it is a tedious process trying to find out which 3rd party app is the culprit.
