Backup 3rd party apps, dm 5.0 Os 5.0.0.230

I just upgraded yesturday from bbc 8.5 to the 230 release. I backed up my 3rd party apps using dm and bbsak. The new hybrid for 230 came out and I'm trying to upgrade to that since I had some issues with the original 230.

I cannot backup any 3rd party apps. I do not get any errors or anything, just no files get created. I tried battery pull on phone, tried clearing browser cache through dm and through phone. restarted computer, all to no avail. I created a backup file fine and I'm just trying to get my apps off before i wipe. Any ideas on what has changed since yesturday. My phone used to have 4.7.0000 os now it has 5.0.0.230 is the only thing I know I changed.

This is driving me nuts. When I try bbsak it brings me to the folder backup that is created in c:/program files/bbsak and it is empty. I thought it was because i had my old backup so I deleted them so now I totally screwed bc I dont have anything. Also with dm it goes through the motions and says its backing up apps but when I search nothing comes up, yes I selected hidden and system folders same am I did yesturday??? Please help!!!

Try going to start > Run, and type in %temp% and press enter. This should bring up the temp folder where the folder DM creates with your PIN number is located.

I tried that, no folder with my pin. I think the issue is that its not actually backing up my apps for some reason.

I got bbsak to work. I deleted all the cod's but not the folder called backup, once I deleted the folder backup in programs files/bbsak it worked but I still cannot get dm to work...weird??

Maybe you didn't have the option to back up third party apps checked...

I unchecked all boxes except 3rd party apps...it goes through all the motions and says searching for apps but doesnt seems to find any...I have google maps, you tube, gps logger, 6 games (air traffic, word shuffle, parking lot, bb tanks, reversi, ka-glom, balloon filler), phillies.com launcher, and bb weather.

for some reason DM 5.0.0.11 deosnt see any of them

Weird. Well as long as BBSAK works, I wouldn't worry about it.
