Thread: 9530 5.0.0.230 OS Hybrid Updated

The 230 that was released yesterday has been updated. There are 29 5.0.0.191 files, docs to go has been updated, vad and vvm are installed. All 5.0 IM clients have been added. If you were having any issues this OS, this should take care of those.
Also, I have removed language files but they are in the removed file folder in the java folder. Just use Shrink A OS by our good friend Lyricidal to put them back if you need them.

You will need to overwite your exsisting 191 file on your PC, then load to your device. You should not run into issues since this is an update.
But if you are like me I would wipe and reload. But that is just me.

so im's work with this right? is this a totally new install to be written over 191 again or can we overwrite what we have and update?

Just download and overwrite the OS on your pc the load to your phone. That should be all you need to do. But if youre like me I would wipe and reload, but that is what I prefer to do.

Hello thanks for this update, does this get installed on top of 191 or is it complete by itself?

I went back to your 8.5 can I install over that or should I wipe the phone and the pc and start with 191?

I would wipe and reload, but that is my preference. Though since you are on v8.5 I would definitely wipe and reload. Install to 191 then to the device.

i had just put the original 230 release
the os was awesome
but when phone rang or put speaker phone on there was terrible static and volume issues

+1 for wipe and install!

BBc, i thought i read somewhere that a PDF viewer was included in the 230 build. Is this true? I havent had the chance to try it.

The attachment service is now built into the OS, but I have added the current Docs to go, Sheets to Go and SlideShow to go. I hope that answered your question.

is BBM back on there as well? i know that was a big reason I left the .230 leak. and what about vlingo and fbook?
