What is the Diff between 230 and this... besides i-m apps

Thanks BBC...am downloading this...BUT, I have had NO issues with the first OS, so I'll keep this as a "backup"...Thank you my friend !! :hail:

BBM 4.7 is what is on the 230, other IM clients are AIM, Yahoo, MSN and Google. I dont use facebook so if they havent updated then it will probably still not work. Same with vlingo.

The original leak had more 191 filler files. I actually was able to extract quite a few more 230 files from the 5.0.0thundr.FlashImage file than before. So those were added as well as the IM clients.

I am running 8.0...I never loaded 8.5 as 8.0 was so good for my Storm. Should I wipe totally? I never have ha any problems loading over previous "hybrids"

Will it work on 9500?

To be honest, yes, I would wipe the device. Download and install 191 ( dont forget to remove the RIM Internal Tools ) then download and install 230 to the OS then load to the phone.

BBCM.....Were you able to get Blackberry App World to work on this build? Also Quickpull?

I did not add the cods for BB AppWorld. However it is installed on my device and working great. I have not tried QuickPull since I use QuickLaunch. Sorry about that.

No worries. I was just confused. I just finished loaded the new one with Tour files I was reading in another thread and I saw yours. I had to wipe the phone again and put yours on. 8.5 was pretty sweet so I have to stick with the Crackman! Thanks for your time. It is a sickness I swear.

Can I install this right on top of the first 230 release? Or should I delete that and reload 191 and then install ontop of that?

A wipe is what I recommend. It just prevents any issues.

Sorry - I wasn't clear or I am not understanding you.I will wipe the phone but should I delete 230 from the computer before loading this and install 191 or can I load this straight ontop of the first 230 on my computer?

hello BBC. just want to make sure i hve it right.
1. install .191 (remove vendor file, and rim internal tools)
2. install new hybrid file on top of .191
3. wipe phone and install new os.

or install .191->.230->new hybrid?

you can load it on top of your existing 230
