I would go with the 167 personally. Smooth transitions better battery life and memory retention.

The choice is easy. If you want stable memory and very little leakage, go with 151. However you will not have streaming media direct TCP connections that last very long so apps such as Pandora, Slacker, VZNavigator will stop functioning after a little bit requiring a battery pull. If you need these apps, you will want to go with 167 but it will leak away to a low level with often causes a reboot after a few days- at least that has been by experience. I have settled on 167 with a batter pull every other day and it works ok as i use the GPS a lot.

Depends on your carrier as well, if you are on tmobile or at&t .230 will work well but any hybrid using .90 radio files will give you the best EDGE stability! .230's EDGE is pretty stable as well but myself and some other GSM users had issues with the radio acting up after missed calls and needing a battery pull to get calls working again! If you have Verison then play away and try some out, every Storm behaves differently, one person may exp memory leaks while yours is rock solid on the same OS!
