I apologize if this has been covered, but I can't scroll through all of the pages right now... Has anyone had any issues with bluetooth? Mine is doing some strange things to me.

When I went to 5.0.0.191 my bluetooth stopped working and I could no longer do hands free to my Kenwood DNX-6140 or stream bluetooth audio. I downgraded to BBC's Hybrid .151 and everything worked again. I did a clean upgrade from the leak last night wiping first, installing .191, removing vendor.xml/rim tools, running .230 exe and using apploader to update. This morning I was able to stream audio via bluetooth and make/receive phone calls on my Kenwood DNX-6140. Thanks soooo much BBC, J and the rest of BBOS staff, this day just keeps getting better.

I love the camera! Fast, responsive, and if you didn't see this yet, when you email/mms a message, it now gives you options of size (original, large, medium, and small). This this is freakin great!

Findings:

edge to EDGE:
I'm using the .230 with T-Mobile on BIS. I find that the edge to EDGE issue really isnt an issue with this build. For some reasons, I get data whether I'm on edge or EDGE so I dont have a problem now.

I use BerryTunes to connect to a radio station in Jamaica. It is the most stable online streaming media player that I have used for the Blackberry. It seems to work fine with the new .230 build. The only issue I have is that if I back out of the program or switch to another progarm, BerryTunes will stop. Kinda bitter sweet I think.

I too am getting the error "Uncaught exception: net.rim.device.api.system.ControlledAccessExceptio n"


What does this mean, and what can I do to correct it. My Storm runs after I press OK, but it bothers me that I am getting an error every time I do a Battery Pull.

For me, Pandora 1.1.1 is still stopping with about 26 seconds left to play. hit pause and play and it starts up again (didn't do this on .191 - stayed stopped). Also can't get the weatherbug icon to show current conditions - saw what was supposed to be a couple of fixes in thread #1, but neither worked for me.......

Radios running steady for me (4-5 bars depending on location) on Verizon in the DC area.

If you have Meterberry, I believe this error is a result of MB not working with this OS..... I got the same error and deleted Meterberry, as well as Stoptilt (which also does not work with this OS), and I have not gotten the error since....

I have been pulling my hair out with 5.0.0.230 due to Verizon error. I installed it last night and my email/browser would not work for anything. I tried everything in the book (I have been doing these hybrids for a while now) and nothing worked. I finally said forget it and put my phone on charge over night. I woke up this morning and everything was working PERFECT! It turns out Verizon's service went down as I was installing. lol

All that heartache for nothing. If you haven't already, INSTALL THIS OS! It is quite amazing. The flick scrolling, overall speed and transitions are flawless (so far). I find the option to re-size photos as you send them out to be extremely helpful. The browser and camera impressed me a lot with their quickness and reliability. I'm not sure if the video had zoom before, but it sure does now.

All in all it is a great OS and I cannot wait to see what the BBOS pros have in store for us in the future. I actually looked over in the Crackberry.com forum to see what they were saying about the leak and, after reading the first page, I felt blood vessels bursting in my neck due to aggravation. There is just way too much trash talking in that neck of the woods. This place is above all of that. Top notch fellas! Stay classy BlackBerryOS!

I did not load MeterBerry or Stop Tilt ..... Saw that they did not work ...... Any other Apps you know of that could cause this?

Still getting the intermittent blank bottom third of the screen in portrait mode that we had in .191. Switch to landscape and back to portrait and it corrects.....

installed yesterday...from 191.. works great so far.. new for me.. the mass storage mode finally does not prompt anymore like it suppose to.. "Auto Enable..when connected" set to Yes. apps installed and working

using Blak_n_Blue Theme... missing Media Home.. have to flip back to default theme to see memory screen in media home menu. Memory at 30MB after 5 hours use... 3G indicator - 2 bars (-94 dBm) in office like 191... step out of office near window get full bars (-80 dBm)...

Oh yea camera works...hurah.. seems to be more responsive, auto focus and snap then when i was running .151 with 6v10... it's a keeper!!

From my understanding, Blackberry Messenger 5.0 will not integrate with any 5.0 OS past .15x.

Until Blackberry messenger receives an update, the only 5.0 OS available to us that will work with BBM 5.0 is 5.0.0.140.

Yup. BBM5 doesnt work, but I had to install 4.7 instead and it works fine.
