Also, does anyone know how to uninstall the enhanced gmail plugin? On 4.7 it was listed in Options > Applications and I just uninstalled it. I can't find it in Applications anywhere. Also, how do you put something in compatibility mode with the new Application Options? I can't find the option to turn it on/off.

If I remember correctly (I could be wrong) but I don't think the gmail plugin works with 230.

Go into options, Date/Time. Make sure all your setting are correct in there. If not you can always manually set it by choosing the time zone you are currently in.

I was try, but it don`t work. I was try to enter to options, to wizard, and to clock menu. Don`t want to show me settings at all. So, is it only my thread?
But I found another way - restored my backup files.

This taken directly from endgadget. Hopefully this will answer your question:

Lackluster Gmail support has been a real pain point for BlackBerry users, and we've really been hoping that this new "Enhanced Gmail Plug-in" would solve all that. It's out as of today, and we've certainly gotten some improvements, like support for archiving messages, marking spam and managing labels / stars. Unfortunately, these new management features are only live synced one way, from the phone to the Gmail server, so many of the actions that take place desktop side won't be reflected on the phone once that particular message has been picked up by the BlackBerry Internet Service. There's also the small problem of installing the thing: we haven't been successful so far on two different BlackBerries, and you have to make sure to uninstall the existing Gmail Plug-in. Meanwhile, in BlackBerry Enterprise Server land, the Google Apps Connector has now gone live, which means Google Apps users get push Gmail and what seems to be much tighter Exchange-style syncing. Let us know if you get either of these things working with your particular setup.

has anyone used the blackberry maps app, i dont remember it being this nice...it renders really fast, has real recent roads in my area (a road built 6 months ago is there), can send ur current loacation to all your messaging ( email, sms, messenger, pin etc) uses google for local search and is faster than google searching it

    its a great upgrade!

BB maps is typically the first app that gets deleted. I do know that RIM is working on an updated version. I am not sure though if that is it.

this thing is considerably fast. i am running a hybrid 5.0 on 9500 which includes 230 files. it is based on 140 though, but it is fast and stable. opera 5.0 mini, googlemaps, meterberry, msn, yahoo, bbm5, youtube all works. 5.0.0.230 is a very good build.

    D/L went without a hitch.
Just like a majority of everyone here....
The following are working like a charm:
    QuickLaunch
    Sensobi Contacts
    PatternLock
    fone book
    ebocrab
    buzzd
    YouMailVVM
    Travel Genius Pro
    StormStat

These puppies don't plain work, or work half-assed:
    BerryWeather
    WeatherBug
    QuickPullPro
    FileScout
    MaxMem
    MeterBerry (of course)
OpreaMini 5 Beta (too quirky for my liking)
    SoftPull

These are the apps that I've tested thus far (rather bummed about Meter Berry, Berry Weather, and Quick Pull though  ).

I wanted to thank everyone from BBOS leaking the 230 whether complete or not a leak is a leak... I of course was sitting at my gf's house (which as all BBOS knows, every time I go to her house a leak comes through - NEVER FAILS lol)... I just wanted to thank you guys so much... I been waiting for a "stable" release... and figures, I also downgraded a couple days ago to 167 hybrid... (Bad Move) I had some whacked notifications and I need my notifications to be exact since I have tons of customer support emails and business emails... Now I can finally have 5.0 with Cam... If your following @wjddesigns twitter you can tell how happy I was with my cam at 167, now I got it with 5.0 and im goin nuts... All in all people need to understand "Don't bite the hand that feeds you" that's one of my life long rules.. Once again thanks for the leak and heres a (fist pump) for yah haha
